hyperI/O LLC, the file I/O performance monitoring expert, announced today that its industry-leading hIOmon File I/O Performance Monitor now enables users to display and export both file and device I/O operation metrics that have been collected by the hIOmon software during the boot startup of the Windows operating system. These metrics can be captured by hIOmon upon an individual file and device basis, with support for both “partitions/volumes” and “entire disks” at the physical device level within the operating system. Moreover, hIOmon can collect an “I/O Operation Trace” and/or summarized (i.e., aggregated) I/O operation performance metrics for user-selected files as well as devices concurrently during system boot startup. |
