Big Picture

The hIOmon I/O Performance Monitor features several distinct means for controlling the overall operation of hIOmon and/or for displaying the file and device I/O operation performance metrics collected by the hIOmon I/O Monitor; these include the:

• hIOmon  Disk I/O Ranger Display (an HTML application using Internet Explorer)

• hIOmon Presentation Client (a Java™ application GUI)

• hIOmon WMI Browser (an HTML application using Internet Explorer)

• hIOmon Command-Line-Interface (CLI using a DOS Command Prompt window)

• Windows® Performance Monitor (PerfMon) / System Monitor (SysMon) support

• VBScripts, C/C++ applications, etc. using the hIOmon WMI support

• Exported performance metrics (e.g., Comma-Separated-Values files).
